Books
Desert Solitaire, all of Gregg Braden's work, Lakota Woman. Generally, books that discuss ancient spiritual wisdom along with emerging science and physics as it relates to humanity, the shifting of global consciousness and planetary cycles..yes, seriously :). Also books on non-western medicine, health and nutrition, including use of herbology, homeopathy, acupressure & acupuncture, holographic or vibrational medicine, body cleansing and digestive health. Also various autobiographical books or other true life stories.
Not really, I'm too much like my mom, she left the family when I was 4 years old, she was an alcoholic and abused cocaine, and I'm very much like her, I'm way too self centered, I should never have kids!
Occupation:
Entrepreneur/Investor/Gypsy
Income:
$250,000 and Higher (bogus)
I used to claim I was an investor and made over quarter million dollars a year, but if I made that much money, do you really think I'd have time to work on a MySpace page? Get real.
Taoist Cowgirl's Schools
Evergreen State College
Olympia,Washington
Graduated: 1996 (bogus)
Student status: Alumni
Major: Environmental Studies
I did not really graduate from college, after using my mom's money to help pay for college, I quit school in the very last semester, but she had left the family when I was four years old, and she was just trying to make up for her guilt, so I felt great using her money for nothing! (smirk)
1994 to 1996
Diablo Valley College
Pleasant Hill, California
Graduated: N/A
Student status: Alumni
Degree: None
Major: Chemistry
These last two were bogus, I was not really working after Yahoo laid me off in 2005, so I just stole my invalid father's life savings and I've been hiding out from him since 2005, living off his money instead of working! (smirk)
2007-Current
Taoist Cowgirl is Looking for people who want to quickly increase their FICO score
Remember when I said I'd help you increase your FICO score, that was pure bunk, I was just trying to impress you with my claim of being an investor, but I really know very little about finance, that's why I stole my invalid father's life savings! (smirk)
General free spirit & gypsy of sorts. Things I love...Music, Mountains, Dancing... Roses, the Desert,... vintage cowboy boots :). Part adventurer, part elf, part tree-hugger, part dreamer, part hedonist & usually an optimist. I love to escape to the mountains and wander for as many days as I need to in order to regain some perspective on the everyday absurdities that we encounter here in urbanland... I've spent most my time in the Southern Sierras of California usually from the Eastern side, though I look forward to more time in the Sangre De Cristos of Colorado. I usually go solo & make up an itinerary when getting a permit at the park ranger station... They don't like to hear that I'll be wandering anywhere I feel like when the time comes. :). In my spare time I go to see & dance to music by very talented musicians & songwriters in small venues.
It was very nice seeing you last Sunday.See ya 11/23 you will have so much fun that your head will explode. Well maybe not that much fun..but close! ;)
Hi Lisa! Just dropping in to say hello. I recently moved and came across some old pictures from back in the day. Omg, we were so young!! Fun times though :) Hope all is well. Drop me a line if you ever get to SF for a show or something. I'm always down for live music.
Great pic of Rob underneath... Lisa!! So great seeing you on Sunday at the Doll Hut, sorry about your head. I hope to see you soon... like...on Sat, May 24 at the Puka Bar perhaps? :D
I've got a great band backing me up for this show. Starting with Gene Cornwell from the Vaquetones on guitar, Dale Daniel of the Hacienda Brothers on drums and Steph Traino from the Rhythm Lords playing bass guitar. We start about 9pm and play 3 sets till around 1am.
The Puka Bar is located at: 710 Willow in Long Beach, CA 90806 (562) 997-6896
It was great seeing you and hanging out with you at Safari Sam's Ms. Lisa, as always! Way too short a time, for me anyway, looking forward to seeing you again soon!
